Dean V 1980 Featured in the film The Jazz Singer

This fantastic guitar carries with it quite a unique story. Before we aquired this guitar, it had one celebrity owner (Richard Bennett). I know that many of the people reading this will immediately know that name, but for those who don't... Richard Bennett is a veteran player as well as record producer. He played with Neil Diamond for nearly 20 years. Other artists he worked/works with include, but are not limited to, Mark Knopfler, Billy Joel, Barbra Streisand, and Vince Gill. He has produced Grammy Award winning artists like Steve Earle, Emmylou Harris, and Marty Stuart. This guitar was purchased by EMI Films for use in the film The Jazz Singer, starring Neil Diamond. Mr. Bennett and this beautiful Dean were both featured in the movie. At the end of production, the guitar was given to Richard by the head of 'props' and has remained in his collection ever since. This guitar remains in fantastic condition and comes with a personal LOA written by Mr. Bennett.
