The Ramírez workshop under the direction of José Ramírez III is one of the few shops that has earned equal acclaim for both its classical and flamenco guitars. This flamenco guitar dates from 1965, the first year that José Ramírez offered the cedar top on its regular production guitars instead of as a custom-order option. This guitar has the traditional rosewood friction tuners and clear golpeadors that preserve the appearance of the fine materials used for its top. Non-original case included.
